Advanced Physiotherapy

At Peak Performance in Hamilton, Ontario, our staff is highly trained. Our physiotherapists have advanced training beyond their university physiotherapy training. This training includes the Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy awarded by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Experience the difference that experience makes!

At Peak Performance we strive to use the latest research and technology to achieve your goals. Our director, Greg Spadoni is an Assistant Professor at McMaster University Physiotherapy School . He incorporates the latest research in the assessment and treatment of injury. Your progress will be tracked using proven and valid outcome measurement tools.

Greg SpadoniGreg Spadoni, Director

PT, MSc, BHSc, BA, Dip.Manip.Ther., FCAMPT, CAFCI
CLINICAL SPECIALIST, MUSCULOSKETAL

Greg is a graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario where he received both undergraduate and graduate degrees in the Faculty of Health Sciences. He also attained the Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA), and is a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists. In 2017 Greg received the designation of Clinical Specialist, Musculoskeletal from the Canadian Physiotherapy Specialty Board; at that time he was one of three in Ontario to hold this designation.

Greg's clinical focus is manual therapy for the treatment of spinal/peripheral joint dysfunction, sports injuries, and chronic pain. He is a member of the Orthopaedic and Sports Divisions of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. In addition to advanced training in orthopaedics, and sports injury rehabilitation, Greg is trained in Acupuncture. Greg is certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute.

In addition to his clinical work, Greg is an Associate Clinical Professor at McMaster University, Hamilton where he instructs part-time in the graduate physiotherapy program. He also teaches continuing education courses in orthopaedics to practicing physiotherapists for the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopaedic Division.

His research interests are currently focused on outcome measurement. He is the developer of the P4, a clinical pain intensity measure. Greg has received 3 Silver Quill Awards from the CPA for clinical research (1999, 2006, 2010). Greg is a past-President of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (CAMPT).


Natalie GreigNatalie Greig

PT, B.Kin, BHSc, Dip.ManipTher., FCAMPT, CMAG, CIDN

A graduate of McMaster University, Natalie received degrees in both Kinesiology and Physiotherapy. She continued her post graduate studies and achieved the Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). She is a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists. Natalie is a graduate of McMaster's Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program for Health Professionals. She furthered her interest in acupuncture and obtained her Certificate in Integrated Dry Needling. Natalie is trained in Stott Pilates and incorporates these principles into her treatment approaches. Her clinical focus includes treating sports injuries and disorders of the spine and extremities. Natalie is a member of the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA. She administrates continuing education courses in the area of orthopaedics to graduate physiotherapists in Ontario. Natalie was formerly a physiotherapist at Canada's National Ballet School in Toronto and enjoys working with this specialized population. In addition, she has an interest in running injuries and is an accomplished Ironman.


Rich DelitalaRich Delitala

PT, MSc(PT), BA (Hons)

Rich is a graduate of Western University where he received a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to studying physiotherapy, Rich received an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University. Since receiving his physiotherapy degree, he has completed his Level 3 Upper and Lower Quadrant courses as well as his intermediate exam in Manual Therapy through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). He is currently pursuing further training in manual and manipulative physiotherapy. Additionally, Rich has completed post-graduate courses in soft tissue release techniques, Mulligan Concept mobilizations, and shoulder complex assessment and treatment. Rich is also trained in acupuncture through Acupuncture Canada. He is a member of the Orthopaedic division of the CPA; his clinical focus is manual therapy and evidence-based exercise prescription for sports injuries and injuries of the spine and peripheral joints. Away from the clinic Rich is an avid golfer, plays rec-hockey and enjoys strength and fitness training.


Katie SpadoniKatie Spadoni

Physiotherapy Resident, MSc(PT), BScH Kin

Katie recently completed her Masters in Physiotherapy while living abroad in Aberdeen, Scotland. She is currently working as a Physiotherapy Resident. Prior to studying physiotherapy, Katie received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Queen’s University, where she also played varsity volleyball. Katie has been with Peak Performance since 2015 and has experience helping a variety of clients achieve their goals. Katie has a clinical interest in working with athletes and paediatric cases. Outside of the clinic Katie enjoys travelling, participating in a variety of sports, fitness training and frequenting local coffee shops.


John JosipovicJohn Josipovic

B.Kin (Hons), MSc(PT), Dip.Manip.PT, FCAMPT

John Josipovic completed a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto after obtaining an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from Brock University.

Since graduating in 2011, John has completed a variety of continuing education course to enhance his practice as he believes in an evidence based approach to treatment. John has successfully attained his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. He has achieved the highest level of manual therapy training in Canada making him a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT). In addition, he has completed his certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University.

John has a keen interest in treating sports and orthopaedic injures, especially ones related to the shoulder, hip, and knee, and has experience working with a variety of individual and team sports.

Johns personalized and evidence based treatment revolves around the use of manual therapy, which includes mobilizations and manipulations of joints and tissue in the body, electro-acupuncture, soft tissue manipulation, and individualized exercise prescription. John takes pride in helping clients understand and overcome their injuries to enable optimal functional performance.

Fitness and health promotion are important to John. When he is not working clinically, he enjoys strength training, cycling, soccer, and golf.


Registered Massage Therapist


Mike JugloffMike Jugloff

RMT

Mike is a registered massage therapist and has been associated with Peak Performance since 2008. He has extensive experience and specializes in sports massage, deep tissue massage, and is certified in myofascial release techniques. Mike has volunteered his time in both minor hockey and soccer as a trainer and has also worked as team massage therapist for the Stoney Creek Junior 'B' Hockey Team. Mike is an active member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

Julia PavoneJulia Pavone, B. Kin

Office Manager

Julia graduated from Brock University with a degree in Kinesiology. Prior to her current position as Office Manager she was a Registered Kinesiologist with us from 2012-2016. Julia oversees the administrative operations at our clinic and is well-versed in all office services. Julia can answer any of your questions regarding invoicing, billing, appointments and MVA related claims. Outside of the office Julia enjoys watching her favourite sports teams, fitness training and spending time with friends and family.


Sheena JenkinsSheena Ackles

Receptionist

Sheena is available to help with any questions related to our services and the logistics of making an appointment and attending the clinic. She is also well versed in the administration of patient and payment matters.
